Gemma was my mentor when I trained as a dog groomer. This was an extremely new experience for me, so I was nervous and apprehensive in handling dogs that I had never met before. I was soon put at ease by Gemma. She was supportive, encouraging and very patient and allowed me to learn at a pace that I was happy with! Her approach to the dogs was consistent and her nurturing and calm approach resulted in all dogs feeling safe in her hands. Her grooming skills were impressive, and the finish and quality of her grooms never wavered. All dogs left the salon with a swagger and a strut with very happy and satisfied owners.
I met Mel after she was recommended to me by a friend. After a few disappointing visits to groomers in the past I walked through Mel’s salon door reluctant that she would be any different. Her warm welcome was a breath of fresh air, and she settled my nervous dog almost immediately. There is nothing this woman will not do to support us as clients. She even remembered to send me a beautiful message when my father went in for an operation! This woman has compassion, patience and skills in abundance and she has a client for life with me and my dog George.
